The Refugee Council of Australia (RCOA) has been conducting national consultations on issues for people from a refugee, humanitarian, and asylum seeking background for over 30 years. These consultations inform both our annual submission to the Government on Australia's Refugee and Humanitarian Program as well as our research, policy development, and campaign work.
The Logan consultations will provide those who support or work with refugees or people seeking asylum with an opportunity to discuss key issues that they see in their work, including in settlement, asylum and in the international sphere. A key issues paper will be provided to focus discussion on areas of interest, including emerging trends and issues which RCOA have identified as priorities for work in the next year.
Read our key issues paper to see what we will be talking about.
