RCOA invites you to have your say on Australia’s refugee policies
Refugee Council of Australia (RCOA) is seeking feedback, suggestions and ideas from refugee communities and people seeking asylum. This is an important opportunity to share your views about Australia’s policies. Your feedback will inform RCOA’s ongoing research, submissions, reports and advocacy in Australia and internationally.
Who should come?
These consultations are designed for people from a refugee community or those seeking asylum.To make sure that everyone feels that they can speak safely, these consultations are not open to: Service providers, government departments or other non-organisational, non-refugee observers.
The consultations will be split into three parts: International and Australia’s Refugee and Humanitarian Program, Settlement Services, Asylum Policies priorities. You are welcome to stay for all three sessions, or choose the most relevant session for you. The times will be:
- International and Australia’s Refugee and Humanitarian Program session: 10am-10.45am
- Settlement session: 10.45am-11.30am
- Asylum session: 11.30am-12.15pm
